 EXTreme VX
The EXTreme-VX is a 27-cell Elliptical X-braced Tri-cell and is the undisputed highest performing canopy on the planet!
Jumpers have known for years that 9-cell canopies out perform 7-cells. 27 cells out perform 21 cells just the same.
The VX enjoys many of the same design features as the FX with constant aspect ratio varying cell widths, a fully formed nose, zero dynamic distortion etc. The pack volume is around 5% greater than the FX or 25% greater than a conventionally constructed 9-cell. This is easily overcome with even smaller sizing as the canopy begs to be loaded at least five to ten percent more heavily than the FX.
The extra rigidity in the canopy through both narrower cell spans and broader angles in the cross braces gives the canopy an even crisper more ridged feel, even more than the EXTreme-FX.
We recommend wing-loadings from 1.8 PSF to 2.4 PSF

 EXTreme FX
The Extreme FX is available in ANY size between 70 and 120 square feet.
Minimum wing loading of 1.3 is required.
COLOR OPTIONS:A- Any Solid Color
B- Top Skin, bottom skin and ribs in one color with the cross-braces, slider and stabilizers in a darker color.

The EXTreme-FX is not for everybody - it's not an all round canopy or of much advantage at light wing loadings.
But if you're a bit of a canopy connoisseur who likes flying a canopy and enjoys a radical turf surf then you should definitely consider the Icarus EXTreme
At high wing loadings it will out perform any canopy currently available (with the exeption of the EXTreme VX), it's expensive, it's bulky but it opens well and is a pleasure to fly and land.

 Sensei
Nearly ten years in research and development make the Sensei Project the longest test-piloting program of any ram-air canopy in history. Now Aerodyne Research has teamed with master designer Brian Germain to bring this elegant canopy design to the marketplace.
In order to shave some of the increased drag experienced at high speeds, the Sensei uses a 21-cell cross-braced infrastructure. This makes it a beautifully proportioned wing, configured into seven cells.
Twenty eight tiny but incredibly strong suspension lines constructed of High Modulus Aramid fiber are coated for extra wear resistance. These low drag lines are essential for preservation of energy. We know you worked hard for your airspeed, and we want you to keep it all the way to the entry gate.
The carefully sculpted airfoil is a novel "Fat-Tail" design, with a greater thickness at the trailing edge to create superior stability when maneuvering with rear risers, especially when pulling high Gs around the corner, down in the power band.
The reduced span at the trailing edge makes the canopy more responsive to toggle input during ground effect and throughout the flare.
The Sensei comes standard with 500 HMA lines.
